Co-Founder & Instructor Trainer at APE Divers Academy
With over 25 years of experience as a professional SCUBA Diving Instructor and cave diver, I’ve dedicated my life to training divers and developing the next generation of dive professionals. As a certified Instructor Trainer for the past decade, I’ve proudly certified more than 1,000 divers and over 100 SCUBA instructors at various levels across the globe. I am the co-founder of APE Divers Academy, a training center focused on high-level education, safety, and real-world problem-solving—especially in the demanding environments of technical and cave diving.
My professional journey began as a climber and paramedic, experiences that shaped my approach to risk management, leadership, and decision-making under pressure. Today, I combine that background with my passion for teaching, exploration, and entrepreneurship. Outside the water, I enjoy traveling, reading, storytelling, and hosting a good barbecue. I believe in the power of experience, clear communication, and creating a learning environment where every diver can grow with confidence and purpose.
