By accessing our website, requesting information, making a reservation, or purchasing any of our services,
you fully accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

1. Services Offered
APE Divers Academy offers:
- SDI recreational courses (Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, among others)
- SDI professional programs (Divemaster and IDC/IEC)
- Fun dives in Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel, and cenotes
- Cenote diving in the Riviera Maya
- Equipment rental
- Internship programs

2. Reservations and Payments
Reservations can be made online through contact forms.
Payment methods
We accept bank card, transfer, cash, PayPal, Wise, Revolut, or other methods indicated at the time of booking.
Deposit
A minimum deposit of 30% is required to confirm an activity or course.
Taxes
Displayed prices do not include taxes unless expressly stated.
3. Cancellations, Changes, and No Show
Customer cancellations
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- The amount paid will be refunded minus the cost of e-learning materials, when applicable.
No show
If the customer does not show up on the service date without prior notice, the reserved activity or course is forfeited with no right to a refund.
Cancellations by APE Divers Academy
If an activity is cancelled due to weather, safety reasons, or force majeure, we will offer:
- Date change
- Rescheduling
- Available alternatives
Date changes
All date changes are subject to availability.
4. Risks and Liability
Diving, recreational and technical, is a potentially dangerous activity that involves inherent risks.
All participants must:
- Sign a liability release form (waiver) before participating
- Complete a medical questionnaire when applicable
- Provide valid certifications according to the activity level
If a customer omits or falsifies relevant medical information, APE Divers Academy reserves the right to cancel the service without a refund.
We strongly recommend that all participants have diving insurance, such as DAN (Divers Alert Network).
5. Courses and Certifications
APE Divers Academy operates in accordance with SDI/TDI standards.
- Certifications are subject to successfully completing theory, in-water sessions, and evaluations.
- If a student does not meet requirements, certification will not be processed.
- Certification fees are charged upon completion of the courses.
- Professional certifications remain valid as long as the diver keeps memberships active and meets current SDI standards.
6. Minors
Minors must:
- Have a signed authorization from a parent or legal guardian
- Meet age and health requirements
- Be subject to special conditions depending on the program
7. Use of Image
APE Divers Academy may use photographs or videos taken during activities for promotional and marketing purposes.
The customer may refuse this authorization in writing before the activity.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
APE Divers Academy complies with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
